Pujo Yatra ("we", "the site") is a free, non-commercial map and route-planning guide to Durga Puja pandals in Kolkata, along with the pandal history pages linked from it. This page explains what data is collected when you use the site.
Information we collect
The map, route planner, and pandal pages do not require an account and do not collect your name, email address, or any personal identifiers. If you use the "start from my location" option in the route planner, your device's location is requested through your browser's own geolocation permission prompt and is used only to draw your position on the map for that session — it is not stored on any server we control.
Analytics
We use Vercel Analytics to understand aggregate traffic (e.g. which pages are visited, roughly how many people visit). This is privacy-friendly, cookie-free analytics that does not track you individually across sites.
Advertising
Some pages on this site may display advertisements served by Google AdSense. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings, or more generally at www.aboutads.info.
Third-party links
Pandal history pages link out to the news articles, heritage sites, and organisers' own websites used as sources. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those external sites.
